Bluegrass NewsAchieving GDPR compliance - Bluegrass, Cyber Security, Exeter, Devon

September 15, 2017

Our Chairman David Thomas has been invited to present on achieving GDPR compliance to a Devon and Cornwall based business networking group.

The GDPR will be enforced from 25 May 2018 leaving UK organisations that process the personal data of EU residents just eight months to ensure that they are compliant. Organisations that fail to comply could be fined up to 4% of annual global turnover or €20 million – whichever is greater.

During his presentation, David will outline the practical steps necessary to comply with the GDPR regulations and demonstrate how IT can be used to assist with the process.

As well as the presentation from David, a speaker from local solicitor firm Foot Anstey LLP will be bringing delegates up to speed on the latest employment law changes.

The event is free to attend and will also provide a networking opportunity.
